| The Diploma in Counseling Psychology program focuses on
counseling techniques and theory applied to individuals, couples, families and groups.
Our innovative, engaging program creates a foundation for making knowledge work in the
real world (see Testimonies). The program is delivered
by practising professional counselors and provides a dynamic experiential learning
centered on the application of theory to real-life situations. The counseling
psychology program has as its core mission the training of ethical, effective,
compassionate and self-aware counselors. |
|
|
|
| This is a 10-month part time program with weekly lecture from
7pm to 10pm. An average of additional 6 hours per month, outside of lecture hours,
will be allocated to practical sessions and tutorials. |
|
|
| The College's training approach is based on adult experiential learning principles in which the student is regarded as the most important ingredient in the learning process. The curriculum and interactive learning environment provide the opportunity to discuss, apply, test, reflect, evaluate and acquire hands-on skills. You are also required to do a large part of your study in your own time. Skills gained can be introduced immediately into the students' personal and professional lives. |
