Today’s children face more challenges than ever before. Through understanding children’s challenges from a psychological perspective, teachers, care-givers, parents, children’s workers, counselors, etc will be more equipped to help them meet their challenges. This course looks at children’s emotional and behavioral difficulties in relation to the normal everyday challenges and environmental situations. They will learn to use their training and skills to team with educators, parents and other mental health professionals to ensure that every child learns and grows in a safe, healthy and supportive environment.
